About the Committee

Guidance, Counseling & Placement Cell is designed to help students choose the right career path based on their educational and professional choices. It is a qualitative and quantitative assessment and upgradation of the knowledge, skills and information of the students in accordance with career options available. The Career Counseling and placement Cell of Bhuvan Malti College of Education provides personal and Professional guidance to students of all the departments of the College. Personal Counseling Sessions are conducted by qualified and experienced Counselors to help students resolve any kind of problems that they might face. Besides career-related problems, personal issues are also dealt with. Thus, the Counseling Cell provides a platform for students to pursue both their professional and personal goals with greater self-awareness, self-esteem, understanding and a focus.

Aims and Objectives

• To help students share knowledge about themselves by identifying skills, and interests.
• To provide information about further course prerequisites, financial aid, academic planning, entrance examinations etc.
• To promote career guidance & counseling through lectures by experts from different fields and visiting professors.
• To organize seminars on interview skills, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills, resume writing, analytical skills, quantitative ability, verbal and reasoning skills essential to all competitive exams.

Functions of the Committee

• To collect information about latest job opportunities and inform students from time to time.
• To organize pre placement, training, workshop programmes, seminars etc. for the students.
• To establish a professional relationship between the alumni of the current session and the recruitment community.
• To make the students aware to register for Pre-Placement Talk Program along with educational, professional technical qualification, experience certificate and bio-data of the applicant to attend the placement camp.
