Campus Beautification and Maintenance Committee

About the committee

The Members of the Committee is responsible for overall beautification of college campus. The areas of work are to purchase seasonal plants and plant all in the pots and lawns in the College. The committee every year adds on new avenue trees, shrubs, climbers and many more plants in the campus. It is the responsibility of the committee to check cleanliness of all the lawns and manure needs of all greenery in the college.

Aim and objectives

• We have been trying our best to make our college campus green by planting various types of trees since many years.
• This effort is also beneficial to some extent for maintaining pleasant atmosphere within our college campus.
• To create awareness about the need to protect the environment and promote for love for the Surrounding biodiversity.
• To take effective measures for waste segregation, waste management, water management and e-waste collection.
• To implement 3 'R' [Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) policy on the campus.
• To support and implement “Swachh Bharat Abiyaan” for healthy India.
• To beautify buildings, paths and park’ seating chairs with multiflowers, towering trees and softy green.
• To provide fundamental facilities for students and staff in our institution.
• Utilize existing space, particularly classrooms, Seminar halls, board rooms, and video conferencing halls more closely within reasonable standards and guidelines.
• Create a checklist, rules, and regulations to maintain classrooms, seminar halls, labs, and auditoriums to maintain campus infrastructure.
• Providing fire safety mechanisms, and drawing assembling points during fire safety.
• Providing sign boards, displaying quality policies, vision, mission, suggestion boxes, milestone boards, first aid boxes, and staff name list boards for each department.
• To maintain the college campus clean and healthy by ensuring dry and wet cleaning in periodic intervals in classrooms, seminar halls, washrooms, and restrooms.

Functions of the committees

• Gardening of the premises.
• Putting up a board of good ideas.
• Gardening at the campus.
• Proper arrangement of water and light.
• Gardening of beautiful plants and seasonal flowers.
• Prepare and constantly update the list of infrastructural facilities in the college.
• Prepare the maintenance report & submit the same to college authorities.
